I bet since Simon Pegg just spent months filming with Benedict on Star Trek, he’s found a way to work in an awesome joke. God, I do hope so. :)
That’s my guess, too. You don’t think that’s actually Benedict though, do you? If it were I’d think the photographer would have gone to some pains to get his face.
At first I was afraid it was some crazy fan who snuck onto the set but in the other photos it’s clear he belongs there.
If it’s Ben, the hair’s a wig - too flat on top and strange on the ends, and the color is too flat black. The shoulders are right and the fingers look pretty good - hah, it’s be even funnier if they managed to get Ben in there in a HORRIBLE Sherlock-style costume, so that he looks enough like Sherlock he’s recognizable, but bad enough he just looks…well, bad. Heh.
Trolling fandom and crossing the streams. AWESOME. I can’t wait for the conclusion of the trilogy.
