Muir Woods. Most Europeans I’ve talked to don’t like US chocolate, but if you like chocolate at all, give See’s and Ghirardelli a try anyway.

pier 39, market st and union square! But stay away from the tenderloin (look it up on google). It’s SUPER dangerous.

Cal Academy of Sciences, the MoMa, the De Young museum… Definitely go see the sea lions at the pier. Pier 1 has a fab indoor market.

YAY! Fisherman’s Wharf by the Embarcadero is a must- you could easily spend half a day going down there and visiting Ghirardelli Square.

The DeYoung museum is fantastic! People also like visiting the Castro and Haight. In the East Bay, Telegraph Ave in Berkeley is a lot of fun.

I remember really liking the Asian Art Museum - and cheap saki bombing at All Season Sushi on Castro. But don’t actually get the sushi. :/

Bi-Rite Creamery, Fort Point and Marin Headlands are favs of mine. Also Cal Academy of Sciences and Golden Gate Park are awesome.
