What we need is a little internal consistency. If you’re gonna claim the completely delusional stance that the bible is 100% law, then you know who needs to follow it thoroughly and completely first? YOU DO. If you can’t do that, you really need to STFU and GTFO with being a jerkface and demanding that other people follow one tiny piece of it. It’s a book. “Divinely inspired” or not, it’s just a book. It’s a book written by human males, translated and retranslated for centuries. Which means it’s not even the original meaning as set down through, “Divine” inspiration.
To wit: “Strange women lying in ponds, distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.” Well, a, “Divinely inspired,” book is certainly not a basis for legislating liberty in a 21st century society.
