Typeverything.com - FAIL BETTER MURAL Designed by Maricor Maricar.
The fact is, the minute we think we’ve got it made, the world will pull the rug out from under us. (Well, in the real world, it will. Some people are just teflon and never learn a goddamned thing.)
None of us can ever know everything. We can never be perfect. We can never do it exactly flawlessly every time, all the time.
We’re not robots.
What we do, if we’re smart and driven, and especially if we give a damn about getting better at whatever windmill we’ve chosen to set our lance for, is fail better.
Fail with less foolishness, less hubris, sometimes with more hubris and heart than sense, fail with everything we are instead of only failing enough to look like we’re trying. Fail big, fail with integrity, and fail with the intent of picking ourselves up and trying again tomorrow.
To fail, is to risk. To risk, is to hope. To hope is to believe that no matter how screwed up this world gets, we can do something about it. We can help, we can make it better, do better, be better: Failing means we’ve put something on the line, if we do it right.
So, yeah: Fail better. Every day.
