I may be about to cry.
I have weird hair. I’ve always had weird hair. It’s baby fine, (by which I mean, barrettes meant for baby fuzz fall out of it,) but I’ve got a LOT of it. It was jet-black and curly at birth, which then somehow became stick-straight ginger by age 3. At 4, it was blonde in the summer. By 10, it was a muddy reddish-brown.
I made peace with it, eventually....
